DIE KLEINE EULE

"Die kleine Eule" is a German 2D interactive bedtime storybook for children aged 3 and up. Translated into English, the title means something like "The Little Owl." The story follows a little owl who is scared of the dark and can't fall asleep, so it decides to go on an adventure. Along the way, the owl learns to appreciate both the night and the daytime.

GAME DESIGN

DIE KLEINE EULE

"Die kleine Eule" (The Little Owl) was created over the span of three weeks as part of a fourth-semester game jam project by a team of five people. For this project, our team chose to develop a game for young children. This was very different from any of my previous projects, as we had to consider the perspective of young children and what they find fun. Since our game required many 2D illustrations, it was helpful that all team members were designers, which made the workload manageable despite the tight deadline.
